Internship Description:

The Entrepreneurship Youth Facilitator will guide students in exploring entrepreneurship principles, helping them develop business ideas, and teaching basic business skills such as budgeting, marketing, and customer engagement. The intern will support students in creating mini business plans, fostering creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Preferred Majors: Business, Marketing, Education, Public Administration, or Liberal Arts
• Career Readiness Competencies:
  • Leadership: Facilitates student engagement and fosters teamwork.
  • Critical Thinking: Encourages innovative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Professionalism: Maintains a structured, goal-oriented environment.
• Academic Background: Undergraduate student in Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field.
• Skills and Experience:
  • Basic knowledge of entrepreneurship and business concepts.
  • Strong public speaking and instructional skills to engage students.
  • Experience in mentoring or working with young people.
• Other Preferred Qualifications:
  • Creative approach to teaching entrepreneurial concepts to youth.
  • Ability to create project-based activities that make learning business skills fun and accessible.

Onsite:  $100/session:  

June 21 and 28

July 12, and 19

Sessions are 2 hours in length

$50/hour, 8 hours in total =$400.00

Saturdays,  1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
