We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join our team. Accounts Receivable Support
o Analyze and monitor AR aging
o Investigate circumstances for non-payment by contacting past-due accounts
o Resolve invoicing or other issues causing a delay in payment (provide documents requested by customer)
o Retrieve documents from customer portals
o Post AR Payments
o Research deductions and resolve them via sale contracts, promotion calendar, POs, and PODs
o Dispute nonvalid deductions
o Follow up and resolve disputed deductions
o Match Shopify sales to QuickBooks and receive payouts
o Post Walmart Payments and manage AR aging weekly through Retail Link
Accounts Payable Support
o Post daily invoices
o Perform three-way match process (Match invoice, purchase order, and receiving report to validate the details of purchase before making a payment)
o Request credits from vendors for price and or receiving discrepancies
o Follow up on credits request
o Provide payment status to vendor inquiries
o Analyze and monitor AP Aging
o Flag and set invoices due for payment and escalate to upper management for payment
o Set up checks to print once approved to pay
Additional Information
o Assist with month-end bank and credit card reconciliations
o Assist with month-end broker commissions
o Assist with month-end accruals
o Create Amazon invoices and bills to post Amazon payouts
o Build an annual promotion calendar by working closely with the sales team
o Maintain digital files
o Ad hoc projects
Requirements
Associate or Bachelor’s degree required. Must live in the tri-state area and be able to commute to office in New Jersey. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup).
