Badge Technician

Job Title: Badge Technician
Location: Sacramento, CA
Employment Type: Contract (ends August/September 2025)
Hours: 1:30pm-10pm M-F
Pay Rate: $27/hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Badge Technician to assist with creating employee badges for the organization. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet employees and ensure a friendly, welcoming experience.
  • Confirm employee appointments and gather necessary information.
  • Take high-quality photographs for badge production.
  • Upload photos and employee data into the badge management system.
  • Print and distribute completed badges accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of badge production and issuance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven computer experience and ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background investigation (BI) and Social Security trace.
  • Willingness to take a TB test and provide proof of past vaccinations. If proof is unavailable, vaccinations must be completed before the role begins.
  • Ability to complete a company medical form and sign a confidentiality agreement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience taking professional-quality photographs.
  • Familiarity with badge creation systems or similar software.
