Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to help oversee day-to-day operations of our diverse food and beverage outlets across the park. This role supports the F&B Manager in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high-quality food standards, and efficient team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily operations across all food and beverage locations within the park, including quick service, snack stands, and sit-down dining venues.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-line staff and supervisors to deliver excellent guest service and meet operational standards.
  • Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health and sanitation regulations (local/state/federal).
  • Support in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Help oversee cash handling, point-of-sale operations, and loss prevention practices.
  • Collaborate with the F&B Manager in scheduling, labor forecasting, and managing labor costs.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to park policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Participate in menu planning, seasonal promotions, and special events.
  • Assist in budget management and cost control efforts.
  • Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, and routine inspection of equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage management or supervision, preferably in a high-volume or theme park setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus).
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
  • Proficient with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
