We are a dynamic supply chain consulting firm dedicated to helping emerging consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands scale efficiently by managing their day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations. We work closely with founders and operations teams to optimize inventory movement, reduce costs, and ensure seamless fulfillment across global markets.

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of logistics operations, including coordination of global freight across all transportation modes and oversight of third-party logistics (3PL) providers. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CPG logistics and a proactive approach to solving supply chain challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all modes of global freight (ocean, air, trucking, rail, parcel) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day relationships with 3PL providers, including contract management, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor shipment visibility and proactively address delays or disruptions.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify cost savings, efficiencies, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, customs documentation, and freight requirements.
  • Support inventory management, warehousing, and distribution activities across client networks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, carriers, and 3PLs for logistics-related issues.
  • Provide regular reporting on key logistics metrics and KPIs to internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations within the CPG industry or a similar sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing global freight across all transportation modes.
  • Proven track record managing 3PL relationships, including negotiating service levels and driving performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
