What You'll Achieve:
- Supporting both the Equitable Development and Housing Stability | Homelessness portfolios.
- Conducting research and field scans to understand housing and housing stability trends and best practices that will inform recommendations for local governments across the country.
- Keeping abreast of emerging housing trends pertaining to local governments. - Contributing content to case studies, the NLC website, blogs, reports, and other NLC resources.
- Providing administrative support and other related duties as assigned.
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
- Long-form writing
- Client services/customer service
Nice to Haves:
- Graduate student with background in economics, public administration, public policy, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of local government and housing and community development issue.
- Attention to detail and highly organized, as well as interested in supporting learning and training events serving government leaders.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with government officials and all levels of NLC staff.
