Compliance Manager
Compliance Manager Job Description: Risk management role that leads compliance operations and new carrier onboarding. Problem-solver in a fast-paced setting, with a risk averse mindset, focused on tactical risk management through detailed investigation and deductive reasoning.
Job Responsibilities:
Fraud Incident Management:
- Responsible for working with authorities and supporting parties in the event of a fraud or theft incident.
- Lead relationships with fraud and theft prevention partners.
- Responsible for managing all fraud and theft incidents through resolution, in support of cross-functional stakeholders.
Carrier Compliance and Onboarding:
- Lead compliance and carrier onboarding workstreams, with a focus on throughput and efficiency while ensuring risk management policy compliance.
- Primary liaison with Highway, our compliance and onboarding partner.
- Lead enhancements to compliance process and systems.
- Ensure stakeholders are sufficiently trained and follow company procedures.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to help facilitate timely flow of compliance workstream and stage-gating for carrier onboarding.
- Ability to build trust and confidence with stakeholders across the organization as a representative for the compliance and onboarding workstream.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders as to why carriers are acceptable or unacceptable for onboarding.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to scope and implement future enhancements to company processes or policies for compliance and onboarding.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to fraud prevention and cargo theft mitigation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the compliance and onboarding workstreams.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes, systems, and practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Proven experience in company compliance, risk management, or incident investigation.
- Experience in law enforcement or insurance investigation preferred.
- Transportation Management experience recommended.
- Strong problem solving and investigative acumen, with extremely high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
