General Description

The position of Financial Aid State Programs Specialist is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and awarding financial aid applications following federal, state, and institutional guidelines. This position plays a key role in ensuring that state grant and aid programs are efficiently managed.

Requirements

This position requires an Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours or two (2) years equivalent full time office work experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, or student services setting, with experience managing electronic data. Clerical skills should include excellent accounting, bookkeeping, math, and computer skills. Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Criminal background check required.
