Midwest Construction, Concrete & General Contractors, Inc. is looking for a motivated student or recent graduate with experience in architectural drafting and design to assist with creating building plans and visual concepts for residential and commercial projects.

This role will involve preparing detailed architectural drawings and helping translate design ideas into clear, professional plans and visualizations that can be used for construction and client presentations.

 

Responsibilities include:

Creating architectural drawings and blueprints for building projects

Preparing foundation plans, floor plans, and layout drawings

Assisting with commercial and residential space planning

Developing conceptual interior and exterior designs

Producing visual renderings that help bring design ideas to life (for example: adding ceiling paneling, wall features, or design elements that do not yet exist)

Collaborating with our construction team to ensure designs are practical and buildable

Revising plans based on feedback from project managers and clients

 

Preferred Skills:

Experience with architectural drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar programs

Ability to create detailed construction drawings and blueprints

Experience producing 3D renderings or visual design concepts

Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret design ideas

Interest in architecture, interior design, construction, or structural design
