AHCA/NCAL is seeking a Research Associate that improves lives by delivering solutions for quality care through the analysis, aggregation, and dissemination of data to Network members. This role will help networks measure performance, pursue clinical integration and become more efficient and effective in achieving better outcomes for residents, families, and staff in long-term care facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, ideally in Public Health, Public Policy, Public Administration, Health Administration, or other related health care field. One to three years of experience working with data, which can include graduate coursework and internships.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Applicants must be able to manage processes and summarize data to support the Networks objectives. The associate will be responsible for the following:

  • Summarize data on key clinical, quality and efficiency measures in writing and graphs
  • Analyze and summarize performance on Network Incentive Programs
  • Update and build PowerBI reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Calculate performance on VBR and Alternative payment models as well as develop formulas to determine/project performance against benchmarks and financial bonuses.
  • Develop methods to rank and identify providers performance on a range of metrics against different benchmarks
  • Develop automated reports based on updated data provided by health plans, providers or Federal Agencies.
  • Create methods to display data and individual provider performance to help more easily identify high and low performing providers
  • Other duties as assigned
