Warehouse Associate
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and retail orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Verify product quantities and order details before packing and loading.
- Label, shrink-wrap, and stage pallets for delivery or pickup.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using safe handling procedures.
Inventory & Quality Control
- Conduct routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with restocking and warehouse organization.
Warehouse Maintenance & Safety
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Sweep, dispose of waste, and maintain orderly workstations.
Team Support & Communication
- Communicate effectively with fellow warehouse team members and management.
- Assist with special projects, inbound freight, and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Support a positive, collaborative, and productive team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of forklift operation; Forklift Certification preferred.
- Strong independent work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to monitor the quality and quantity of inventory.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
- Physically capable of standing, sitting, moving, squatting, walking, and climbing throughout the shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physical, fast-paced environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and consistent work ethic.
