This position will be assigned to the Office of Human Resources to assist administrative support or management personnel in the recruitment and selection processes for the Specialized Hiring and Recruitment unit.

Required Education and Experience

 

Education 

Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution.

 

Experience 

No specific type or amount is required.
 

 

Additional Requirements and Information

 

This position is a year round position with the option to work up to 129 hours in a calendar month. 

In order to be considered for this position, you must:

  • Attach a copy of your transcripts or proof of enrollment to high school, vocational or technical school, or a post-secondary educational institution.
  • Attach a cover letter and resume.
  • Attach a separate document responding to the following: 
    • The Michigan Civil Service Rules and Regulations are found on the Michigan Civil Service Internet site. Please attach a separate document listing how many chapters are in the Regulation and include the title for each chapter.

Position Location/Remote Office: This position may work remotely or work hybrid (remote/office). The office is located in the Grand Tower at 235 S Grand Ave. Lansing, MI. 

Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including: 

  • A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
  • A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
  • Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
