Brand Rep - Market & Event Associate (Boston Area)

Part-Time | $20-23/hr

ABOUT THE ROLE

Tilden is seeking a reliable and outgoing Market & Event Associate to represent us at the SoWa Holiday Market and other select markets across the greater Boston area.

You’ll be the face of Tilden for market shoppers – offering samples, sharing our story, and selling products using our mobile point-of-sale system. This role requires comfort working independently, enthusiasm for engaging with customers, and a commitment to maintaining a polished, organized booth.

This is intended to be a part-time position, offering 3-4 shifts per week, with opportunity for more if desired.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Restock and maintain a polished, organized booth at the market.
  • Sample Tilden non-alcoholic cocktails to customers, sharing product information and our brand story to win them over.
  • Sell product using the Shopify POS system on your phone; handle cash and manage change as needed.
  • Collect email addresses from customers.
  • Track sales and inventory throughout the market.
  • Represent Tilden warmly and professionally, embodying our brand values.
  • As needed, pick up product, signage, and materials before a market, and return items to storage after the market. The SoWa Holiday market booth will be permanent throughout the month, so this will be a lower-lift than standard summer markets. Any needs to be discussed and mutually agreed upon.

 

SCHEDULE

We have one large winter market set in our schedule, starting this month. Other markets will continue to be added and will be offered to existing part-time team members first before hiring new team members. For the sake of this application, please ensure you are available to cover AT LEAST two of the shifts listed below.

 

SoWa Winter Festival

📅 When: Friday, November 28 – Sunday, December 28 (25 total dates)

📍 Where: Beautiful indoor venue at the SoWa Power Station – 550 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02118

🕒 Market Schedule (available shifts):

  • Tue: 3:30 PM – 8:15 PM
  • Thurs: 3:30 PM – 8:15 PM
  • Sat: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Sun: 2:15 PM – 7:15 PM
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: CLOSED

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Must have reliable transportation (either a reliable public transit route or a car).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (for loading/unloading materials).
  • Prior experience in customer service, retail, events, or food/beverage is a plus.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone for POS transactions (Shopify experience is a bonus).
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in various weather conditions.
  • Enthusiastic, personable, and excited to represent Tilden’s brand and products.

 

COMPENSATION

  • $20-23/hour
