Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and playful Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in our outpatient private practice. This position begins part-time with the opportunity to expand to full-time as the caseload builds.
The ideal candidate has experience working in pediatric or clinic-based settings, enjoys play-based therapy, and believes in fostering meaningful connections with children and families to support their development and independence.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized and small-group occupational therapy sessions to children (ages birth–18 years) in an outpatient clinic setting.
Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy using play-based, evidence-informed strategies.
Address areas such as sensory processing, reflex integration, fine and gross motor skills, visual-motor integration, social-emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent carryover and support.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, session notes, and progress reports.
Participate in mentorship, case collaboration, and continuing education opportunities.
Contribute to a positive, playful, and supportive clinic environment.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current Florida state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in a pediatric or outpatient clinic setting preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong commitment to play-based, connection-focused, and family-centered therapy practices.
