Extension IPM Technician

GENERAL INFORMATION

This position will involve a variety of tasks for Utah’s Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program, within USU Extension. The IPM Program provides education to the general public on ways to manage pests while reducing pesticide use.

An on-campus office is available; however, you can work from home if desired. 

Start date is as soon as possible, and hours are flexible.

JOB DUTIES

• Write fact sheets for Utah's fruit and vegetable producers
• Assist in development of new Intermountain West small fruit guide
• Update web content and images
• Update content for Intermountain West tree fruit guide
• Write articles for our newsletters
• Use InDesign and PhotoShop to edit content

REQUIREMENTS

Training will be provided, but experience with InDesign, PhotoShop, Excel, Word, video editing, and HTML is preferred.

• Must have valid U.S. drivers license.
• An eye for detail
• Trustworthy and ability to stick to work schedule
• Good writing skills
• Organized and motivated
• Ability to work well independently

This is an on-Campus ACA Variable Position.
