Warehouse Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Warehouse Manager located in Jersey City, NJ. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and ensuring safety standards are met. Responsibilities also include supervising warehouse staff, coordinating logistics and shipment, and maintaining records of all warehouse activities.

 

Operations:

DETERMINE THE WEEKLY DELIVERY SCHEDULE

PREPARE PICK TICKETS, PACKING LISTS, FOR STAFF.

INSPECTION OF MATERIALS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.

COMMUNICATION WITH OUR TRUCKING TEAM.

COORDINATION WITH SALES TEAM REGARDING SCHEDULING.

INVENTORY PROCESSING, RECEIVING & UNLOADING CONTAINERS.

PREPARING PHOTO REQUESTS, SCANNING SLABS.

OVERSEE WAREHOUSE TEAM TO ACCOMPLISH GOALS.

RELOCATING & TRANSFERRING MATERIALS.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory management and order fulfillment
  • Skills in supervising and training warehouse staff
  • Knowledge of logistics and shipment coordination
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Prior experience in the stone and tile industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, preferred
